OCP+ is a patented temperature measuring system to monitor local temperature distribution on the inside of the coils of coreless induction furnaces. It reliably detects wear and crucible damage such as erosion, cracks and metal fins.
Apart from the melting and holding operation, the sintering process is also monitored reliably. The system can be used in most coreless induction furnaces.
Since OCP+ is a laser-optic temperature measuring system, it works perfectly even in strong electromagnetic fields, contrary to resistance measuring systems.

Temperature visualization ahead of the induction coil helps to detect local crucible wear and therefore makes the repair of faulty areas and the planning of a relining easier.
Our OCP+ is the only system which also allows a complete temperature monitoring even during the sintering process. Humidity does not affect the measurement. Full functionality is maintained even when melting zinc alloys or galvanized scrap.
The OCP+ sensor cable is integrated in the permanent lining, so that there are no extra costs during crucible changes. In total, this means considerably reduced maintenance costs compared to other crucible monitoring systems.
