OTTO JUNKER academy
Practical seminar on foundry systems from 23-25 October 2023 "From practitioners for practitioners"
The OTTO JUNKER Academy was established at the end of 2014 to provide production staff and maintenance technicians with information on the latest requirements for industrial furnace systems with the aim of imparting knowledge and experience in the planning, modernisation, operation, maintenance and repair of industrial furnace systems.
The seminars focus on cost-effectiveness, reliability, energy efficiency and safety.
From 23-25 October, a 3-day practical seminar on foundry systems was once again held at our premises in Lammersdorf.
With many topics relating to induction melting systems, the foundry systems seminar was thematically diverse and very varied. The extensive programme was rounded off by a tour of the company, including a visit to the coil production facility, the test hall of our research and development department and the newly developed rotary kiln for recycling used beverage cans, for example.
The many experts from the aluminium, copper and cast iron industries, who work directly on our furnace systems and those of our competitors on a daily basis, left the seminar with a wealth of knowledge and new ideas. And not just them. Our engineers were also able to take away suggestions and ideas for improvement from the seminar participants from their daily work in foundry operations.
A big thank you to all participants and to all Junkerites who contributed to the success of the seminar!
